We have a new Show Choir in Medway! To be part of Regional Rhythm, come along to the Medway Show Choir. We meet every Thursday at The Brook Theatre, Chatham from 7pm-9pm. All abilities are welcome. Ages 14+. Price to attend is £10 for 4 weeks or £3 per session - the first session is FREE!
We rehearse and perform songs from any type of genre including pop, rock, gospel, motown, and songs from musicals.It is a great place to make friends, gain confidence and have fun with singing and dancing!

Musical and Dance Directors Wanted
We are looking for enthusiastic people with music and/or dance experience to become part of Regional Rhythm! A key part of establishing the Show Choirs is having Music and Dance Directors to give guidance to choir members and to run the weekly sessions. Although some technical ability is required for the role, bringing a safe and friendly atmosphere is most important.
We are a really supportive business that would gradually build the new potential Director’s confidence until they felt able to run a session of their own. We also have many other outlets for creativity as well, such as our workshops and parties.
Let's Take This Show on the Road!
Sadly, not everyone is able to experience the feeling of being part of a fun, friendly group like Regional Rhythm’s Show Choirs. So, we were thinking, could we bring the experience to the people missing out? That’s when we got the idea for our Workshops.
Initially, we are hoping to start Workshops in Residential Homes. We also want to offer Workshops to hospitals and to other individuals and communities that would not ordinarily be able to experience the beneficial environment that the Show Choirs offer.
If you have experience with singing, dancing, or working with sensitive individuals, we would love for you to be a part of this.
Singing and Moving Planet - a FREE event
Regional Rhythm presented a free musical event with performances from the Maidstone Show Choir in order to raise environmental awareness on September 24th 2011.
We did this as part of the Moving Planet (www.moving-planet.org) world-wide environmental event based around reducing fossil fuel consumption, using sustainable transport, and planting lots of trees to sequester carbon from the atmosphere. We wanted to do our part - and have a laugh in the process!
The event was open to everyone and began at 1pm at the Hermitage Millennium Amphitheatre in Maidstone, Kent.

Regional Rhythm aims to use singing and movement to promote confidence, wellbeing and interaction with others. Whether you are looking to attend any of our workshops, or come along regularly to our Show Choirs, you will find a fun, friendly place that will welcome you with open arms.
Regional Rhythm currently runs Show Choirs across Kent, and we want to provide Workshops to communities that would otherwise be unable to attend a Show Choir. We aim to make all our projects and groups open to everyone regardless of skill or experience, and we do not hold auditions and are always looking for new members.
